A few weeks ago I was sitting in a meeting when my cell phone started vibrating. Once we were done I pulled my phone out to see that I had a miss call from one of my fellow guild officers. I called my guild mate back and the conversation went a little something like this:

I was talking to a buddy the other day at work and I made a comment to him that still holds true as I am writing this: You know when you get to that point in Tetris where the little pieces are coming down so fast that you just don’t have enough time to think of where you should put them, you just keep stacking them in ways that will prolong the game. Last week one of our new guild members decided to form a raid group for the weekly raid boss. Shortly after forming and starting the raid whispers went out to our guild leader. Players in the PUG raid complained that the new guy wasn’t handling loot in a fair manner, was kicking players without warning or reason and in general acting like a douchecock. Thus far I have avoided writing about anything personal on my blog. Why? I wanted to focus mainly on raiding in World of Warcraft. However an event in my life helped to backup the thoughts I had shared here. It never fails. It’s Monday night, an hour before raid time. Im zooming around on my flying mount turning in daily quests, hitting the auction house for flasks, making “well fed” food and all of a sudden I get a text message. |
