Thus far I have avoided writing about anything personal on my blog. Why? I wanted to focus mainly on raiding in World of Warcraft. However an event in my life helped to backup the thoughts I had shared here.
A while back I said something about when players are looking for a guild, they should find a group of people that fit their lifestyle.
Oh wait…here it is!
Well, now we have story time:
Friday, the day after Thanksgiving I was sitting at work. It was nice, I was the only person in the office because everyone else took time off to spend with their family and friends. At about 2 in the afternoon I receive a call from my pregnant wife saying that the baby was coming. I get off the phone with her and call my boss at home.
Yo Dave, uhh…the baby is coming…
Go ahead and leave buddy.
Go to the hospital, baby plops out, all is well. After getting everything situated, I pull out my laptop and throw pictures onto Facebook. Close the laptop to do more baby related things. The next day I pull the laptop back out and log onto WoW to find this:
Warm and fuzzy feeling all around. Might sound lame but its a nice feeling to know that the guys you spend hours raiding with might care a little bit.
