The other night a few friends and I were grouped up playing Call of Duty MW2 on our XBOX 360s. During one of the breaks between game sessions, the following conversation took place: Thus far I have avoided writing about anything personal on my blog. Why? I wanted to focus mainly on raiding in World of Warcraft. However an event in my life helped to backup the thoughts I had shared here. Here we have our 25 man raid fighting Lord J in TotGC. The last few videos had me tanking bosses in 10 man, however this one has me DPS-ing. Why is that you might ask? Well, a Warrior tank is better suited for the encounter because of two special abilities.
A few things I want you guys to look at in this video:
Retribution vs Anub’arak in Trail of the Grand Crusader 10 Man: A few things I want those new to the encounter to look at:
A few weeks ago Raid Invite had a few problems with our host provider. There were a few days of downtime, where the site was either totally offline or unbearably slow to load. After several attempts to contact support, whether it be through their email account or java based chat room, I decided the best course of action was to drop them. If they couldn’t be reliable enough to keep my website up and running then there was no need to spend my money on their services. I promptly switched to a new host provider and am (so far) very happy with the service. Been spending a lot of my time trying working on videos for raid kills. I’m sure I still have plenty to learn but here is our 10 mans kill of Twin Valks in Trial of the Grand Crusader. Edit: Video has been redone. Learned a lot this week, special thanks go out to my guildie Strifect for putting up with my questions! Faith -noun 1. Confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another’s ability. I have a friend named Steve. Steve IS the definition of a casual WoW player. He is married with children and a job in the military. He doesn’t have much time for World of Warcraft, but he does the best he can with what is provided. The funny thing is that Steve always seems to get into weird situations when it comes to WoW. When I was 16 I started working at the local grocery store. It was a full sized store with a deli, butchery, floral area, and a gas station. It never fails. It’s Monday night, an hour before raid time. Im zooming around on my flying mount turning in daily quests, hitting the auction house for flasks, making “well fed” food and all of a sudden I get a text message. |
